I live in a materialistic and structured society- a world filled with order and rules. Each day, my life's journey begins in whatever direction my mind chooses. I cherish thought. I am a creator. I make things. I create because it’s the only thing I can do. I make things because I want to. I am an artist not limited by a certain media because I enjoy the tactile quality of creation. I investigate the possibilities of existing beyond any defined category. My art is a visual diary of my dreams and most fundamental truths. The fluctuation of perception captivates me: the abstraction of realism and the realism of abstraction. I challenge myself to have the unrestricted pleasure of indulging in the freedom of art, and to confront my own reality by endless discovery.

I am fascinated with experiences dealing with the subconscious state of mind. I work from collecting material from my unconscious imagination along with my personal history. I dream as a form of meditation. In my unconscious state I develop new worlds and multilayered lives for myself to exist in with endless freedom. I challenge myself by deciphering my experiences in my dreams that link to my reality. In my dream state I have the ability to control my environment and tend to my ultimate desire and passion. I document my travels within dreams in a journal, hoping to discover parallel experiences linking the past to the future. The documentation and materials collected in my dream journal give me access to an endless database of material to work with.

I challenge myself to exemplify the multiplicity of color and form, which enables me to have unrestricted pleasure to indulge with in the freedom of art. I confront my own vocabulary everyday, continuously discovering. I exist in a constant cycle of learning, through the beauty of life as an artist.
